Toni Kukoc: 1990, 29th pick
Kukoc was drafted by the Bulls in 1990 but wouldn’t make his debut until three years later in between Bulls’ 3-peats.
He ended up playing parts of seven seasons with the Bulls, won three titles as a key contributor off the bench and took home the 6th Man of the Year award once and also finished second in the voting the following season.
Kukoc had his critics during his career, mostly because the European game wasn’t as good as it is now and many considered the players “soft,” a notion that now seems hilarious considering the last six MVPs have gone to players born outside of the US.
Kukoc was a bit of a pioneer in that regard, as well as the model for the big skilled wing that every team wants now. You could argue he was even better suited for the modern game given his size and ability to stretch the floor.
But he’s not the greatest second round pick of all time.
