The Chicago Bulls have created some separation in the No. 9 spot in the East heading into tonight’s matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers, who are fighting for playoff positioning themselves.

Tonight, we’re focusing on the prop market in this game, as both teams have struggled to cover the spread at a high rate in this spot (Los Angeles as a home favorite, Chicago as a road dog).

The Lakers have listed both LeBron James and Anthony Davis as questionable, which has limited the number of props we have – for now – to bet on Los Angeles.

So, why not target three Bulls players on Thursday night? Here are my favorite picks for this matchup:

Bulls vs. Lakers best NBA prop bets

  • Coby White OVER 10.5 rebounds and assists
  • Alex Caruso OVER 1.5 3-pointers made
  • Nikola Vucevic UNDER 12.5 rebounds

Coby White OVER 10.5 rebounds and assists

In 20 games without Zach LaVine (who is ruled out tonight), Coby White has put up 11 or more rebounds and assists in 12 of them.

He’s coming off a massive showing, posting 10 rebounds and nine dimes to move his season averages without LaVine to 5.9 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game. Pretty sold, no?

White is going to have the ball in his hands a ton, and the Lakers rank 21st in opponent assists per game and 17th in opponent rebounds per game.

I’ll trust White after he nearly had a triple-double in his last game.

Alex Caruso OVER 1.5 3-pointers made

Alex Caruso has a revenge game against his former team on Thursday.

The defensive-minded guard is shooting the ball at a high clip this season – 42.0 percent from 3 – and he’s made at least two 3-pointers in seven straight games.

If you extend this back to 12 games, Caruso has multiple 3-point shots made in 10 of them, averaging 2.3 makes on 6.1 attempts per game over that stretch.

If he keeps shooting the 3 at this high of a volume, Caruso is a lock to go OVER this number. The Lakers are allowing the most opponent 3-pointers made per game this season.

Nikola Vucevic UNDER 12.5 rebounds

Nikola Vucevic has played in 40 games this season, but he’s only cleared 12.5 rebounds on nine occasions.

I’m fading him here against the Lakers with Anthony Davis patrolling the paint and dominating the glass more often than not this season.

Vooch is averaging 10.7 rebounds per game, but I think there is a little recency bias with this line since he’s put up three games over this number in his last five games.

I’ll sell high on the Bulls big man tonight.
