4 Ceiling raisers the Bulls should trade for before February deadline
3. Jarred Vanderbilt
Jarred Vanderbilt is having a rough season averaging 2.5 points, 4 rebounds, and .9 assists, but he is still a solid defender at his position. He can still cover ground and get a steal in his 17 minutes of playing time. He can assist in getting rebounds and causing a ruckus to create fast breaks.
Vanderbilt could be a great fit with the Bulls with him being a great rebounder, an area the Bulls are lacking at, and help with the defensive scheme the Bulls have in place. He could also serve as a lob threat while Vucevic stretches the defense to give the offense a new dimension to work with. He would focus solely on rebounding and defense while giving our more accurate shooters more attempts and taking advantage of our teams' speed and athleticism.
He's earning around $13 million per year and could use a change in scenery to return to his career averages. They could use some stable play from the point guard position. Jevon Carter, Dalen Terry, and Torrey Craig match salaries and would help both teams.
Jevon Carter would establish a ball handler and be a great defender at their point guard position, which has been missing in the absence of Gabe Vincent. Dalen Terry could inject some life on the bench and Torrey Craig can help backup Rui Hachimura and Lebron James at the forward positions.
