2024 NBA Mock Draft: Bulls take win-now shooter, Rockets build for future

#6: Charlotte Hornets select Reed Sheppard  

The Hornets could go a lot of ways here, but Sheppard makes sense as a fit next to LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller. 

He can play alongside the two but also offer some insurance against LaMelo Ball injuries and a guy who can take on tougher defensive assignments. 

His ability to spread the floor would benefit both Ball and Miller and Sheppard could potentially step right into the starting lineup.
