2024 NBA Mock Draft: Bulls take win-now shooter, Rockets build for future

#15: Miami Heat select Zach Edey 

Edey could work well with a rim protector like Bam Adebayo and would give Miami a dynamic weapon in the post. 

Edey also showed some potential as a stretch at the NBA Draft Combine, where he was reportedly launching 3-point shots in front of scouts. 

Whether that ever happens is anyone’s guess, but Edey should be able to get buckets around the rim, grab rebounds and help the Heat’s interior defense right away.
