Unfortunately, the Chicago Bulls have not been winning basketball games. The Bulls are 1-5, six games into the NBA season.

The lone win came against the Milwaukee Bucks in their second game of the season. Chicago is currently on a four-game losing streak.

However, fans should be extremely happy with the performance of rookie Caleb Wilson so far. Wilson has shown how he can change the narrative surrounding the Chicago Bulls.

Wilson is producing well on both ends of the floor

Having a star who is talented on both ends of the floor is a valuable asset to any team. The go-to player producing on offense and defense makes the starting unit all the more stronger.

Wilson has shown that he can be this type of player for the Bulls.

Wilson currently leads the team in points per game with 21.2. He is also averaging 1.7 steals and 1.5 blocks per game.

The Bulls need improvement on both ends of the floor. Wilson can be the anchor of a future Bulls team that is a dual-threat with their offensive and defensive production.

His defensive effort and energy are amazing to watch for this Bulls team. He is proving that he can be highly trusted on both ends.

His 3-point shooting ability

Looking at his 3-point field goal percentage across all six games, it doesn't look great. He is shooting 29.8% from beyond the arc.

In his last two games, Wilson has shot 3-for-8 (37.5%) and 6-for-11 (54.5%) from deep.

Expect him to develop his 3-point shot even further. But it is great to see this 3-point shooting production from him in the last two games.

If the Bulls want to be successful, 3-point shooting will be key. Wilson can be the player to build around with 3-point shooting as well, if he can be consistent and reliable with it.

This not only has a team benefit but also an individual benefit for Wilson.

Wilson has a strong attack to the rim. Strong 3-point shooting will give him opportunities to attack closeouts and get great looks in the paint.

The more dynamic his offensive game is, the harder it will be to stop him.

Overall, Wilson is stepping up early in his NBA career. This bodes well for his ability to lead this Chicago Bulls team to shift the narrative.

Wilson is showing the foundations for a strong NBA career with the Chicago Bulls.
