Here's the latest Chicago Bulls news after one of the wildest late-game comebacks in NBA history, which somehow featured even more than just a half-court buzzer beater.
Josh Giddey's march madness moment
The NCAA Tournament is in full swing, as last night was the first round of the Sweet 16. This year hasn't been as upset-crazy as usual, but it's still known as March Madness for a reason.
Josh Giddey grew up in Australia and never played college basketball. He never got a true taste of the madness.
Until last night:

Five days after nearly completing a quadruple-double in a win over the Lakers in LA, Giddey finished with 25 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists, including that half court heave game-winner, in the home rematch. He was 4-for-9 from three. It's a continuation of his ascent to one of the best players in the league.
Since the All-Star break, the 22-year-old is averaging 22.8 points (28th in the NBA), 10.5 rebounds (ninth) and 9.2 assists (fifth) with 53/52/81 shooting splits. It feels like the proverbial other shoe is dangling in the air, waiting to drop. But it isn't.
Another comeback win for the Bulls
Chicago leads the league in fourth-quarter comebacks. Giddey's heroics made it 13 for the Bulls this season. But last night's win was so much more than that:

Chicago trailed by five with 12.6 seconds left. Patrick Williams hit a three to cut the defecit to 115-113. Giddey then stole LeBron James' inbounds pass and found Coby White—who had a team-high 26 points—for the go-ahead triple.
Fittingly, the Bulls' defense let Austin Reaves get an easy layup to return the Lakers the lead before, also fittingly, Giddey happened.
Time to believe in the We Believe Bulls?
In the 2006-07 season, the Golden State Warriors grabbed the eighth and final Western Conference playoff spot. Baron Davis, Monta Ellis, Stephen Jackson, Jason Richardson and Al Harrington helped lead the team to a 42-40 regular-season record and a date with the No. 1-seeded Dallas Mavericks in the opening round of the playoffs.
The Warriors had gone on a late-season run, winning 16 of their final 21 games, and continued that hot streak by beating the heavily favored Mavs and NBA MVP Dirk Nowitzki in six games, becoming the first No. 8 seed in league history to upset a No. 1 seed.
The Bulls are 9-2 in their last 11 games and 11-7 since the All-Star break with nine more games left. Seven of those nine come against teams with losing records.
There aren't a ton of parallels between the 2024-25 Bulls and 2006-07 Warriors...but there aren't none.
