1. Doc Rivers

Rivers spent 24 straight years as a head coach for four different franchises. He won the championship with the Celtics in 2008 and made it back to the NBA Finals in 2010. Rivers coached his team to the playoffs 19 times and won 1,208 total games.

The 62-year-old spent 13 years playing in the NBA before jumping into coaching. He was an All-Star in 1988 and a starting point guard in the league for a decade. Rivers has seen it all in the NBA and coached Joel Embiid to MVP honors last season.

He joined ESPN as part of their top broadcast team this season, but the itch to return to the bench could return at any moment. Rivers is hungry for another ring and has not coached a team to an under .500 record since 2007. Yes, there have been playoff collapses, but the Bulls would be ecstatic just to qualify for the postseason.

Rivers is arguably the best available coach and could make an instant impact on any franchise. He would have to leave the broadcast booth, but fans should not rule it out.

The Chicago Bulls must play well, or Billy Donovan could be on the chopping block. Will they fire him midseason? It is something to watch, especially if the franchise is struggling.
