The Milwaukee Bucks’ first-round playoff exit after having the best regular season record in the NBA is certain to lead to changes. Head coach Mike Budenholzer was fired, and they have two key starters heading to free agency. Can Milwaukee bring back both Middleton and Brook Lopez? If not, which player do they prioritize?

Middleton clearly showed some slippage this season as injuries limited him to just 33 games. The 6’7 wing brought it in the playoffs, including averaging 23.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 6.2 assists over the five games, but it was not enough to save the Bucks. Can the 31-year-old bounce back next season? Do his injuries force Milwaukee to let him walk in free agency?

Middleton and Zach LaVine were key pieces of Team USA’s second unit in the Tokyo Olympics. Do the Bulls try to sign the soon-to-be unrestricted free agent to give them three hybrid scorers and playmakers? They could be one of the best offensive teams in the league by adding Middleton.

The Chicago Bulls are unlikely to add a key piece in free agency this summer. Cap constraints and roster-building concerns will play a factor, and the franchise will struggle to add someone with ties to star Zach LaVine. Who will they bring to the Windy City? Stay tuned to find out.
