The Chicago Bulls have been playing much better as of late, ranking seventh in the NBA in net rating over their last 10 games heading into Monday’s matchup with the Atlanta Hawks.

For bettors interested in simply wagering on tonight’s game, I broke down these two teams in my game preview here.

However, I actually think the best way to bet this matchup may be in the prop market, especially if you’re looking to back Nikola Vucevic tonight.

Here are three props to consider for this matchup as both teams fight for positioning in the Eastern Conference:

Hawks vs. Bulls best NBA prop bets today

  • Nikola Vucevic OVER 14.5 Rebounds and Assists
  • Dejounte Murray OVER 21.5 Points
  • Zach LaVine OVER 26.5 Points

Nikola Vucevic OVER 14.5 Rebounds and Assists

Can Vucevic keep his insane rebounding streak going?

Vucevic is averaging 13.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in his last 10 matchups, well above his season averages of 11.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists, and he’s got some value on his rebounds and assists prop tonight.

Vuc is set at just 14.5 rebounds and assists, a number he has cleared in nine of his last 10 games. Now, he has an easy matchup against one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA. The Hawks allow 46.2 opponent rebounds per game, good for 29th in the league, and they rank 28th in the NBA in rebounding percentage.

Vucevic has been solid as a passer, picking up four or more assists in six of his last seven games, so he has a great floor to get to this number on Monday night.

Dejounte Murray OVER 21.5 Points

Dejounte Murray has been on a tear as of late for Atlanta, scoring 26 or more points in five straight games.

Oddsmakers seems to think this is going to be a high-scoring affair with a total all the way up at 239.5, so I love Murray to go over this prop.

The Hawks guard is averaging 21.0 points per game on the season, but he’s really seen his usage increase as of late with Bogdan Bogdanovic injured. Murray has taken at least 16 shots in 10 straight games, including back-to-back contests with over 20 field goal attempts.

That kind of usage is what you want to take an OVER on this prop.

Zach LaVine OVER 26.5 Points

Zach LaVine is starting to find his form for Chicago, scoring at least 25 points in seven straight games.

The key for LaVine, like Murray, is usage, and he’s seen plenty of that, taking 19 or more shots in all seven of those matchups.

The Hawks rank 18th in the NBA in defensive rating, and LaVine has simply had too big of a role for me to fade him here. As long as this number is in the mid-20s, LaVine is a worthwhile bet on Monday.
