Bulls vs 76ers Odds, Starting Lineup, Injury Report, Predictions, TV Channel for Jan. 6
After recent games against the Bucks, Cavaliers (twice), and Nets, the Chicago Bulls‘ run through the Eastern Conference gauntlet isn’t over quite yet as they’re set to take on the Philadelphia 76ers tonight. Winners in 11 of their last 13, the 76ers provide yet another opportunity for the Bulls to play the role of spoiler as they did against Brooklyn just two days ago.
If history is any indication, however, the odds are certainly not in Chicago’s favor. The 76ers have won 15 of their last 16 meetings with the Bulls, including an active 12-game win streak. With a bit of positive momentum finally on their side, the Bulls look to snap their second streak in as many games in Philadelphia tonight.
Here’s everything you need to know before tip-off tonight in the City of Brotherly Love.

Projected Chicago Bulls Starting Lineup and Injury Report
- PG: Ayo Dosunmu
- SG: Zach LaVine
- SF: DeMar DeRozan
- PF: Patrick Williams
- C: Nikola Vucevic
- IR: Out – Lonzo Ball; Questionable – Alex Caruso, Javonte Green
The Bulls are slowly but surely returning to full strength with names dwindling from the injury report in each passing game. Caruso has played in his last four contests despite being listed on the injury report ahead of each game, so that bodes well for his chances to suit up tonight. Once Green makes his return to the court, we’ll finally be able to witness the Chicago Bulls at their best once again (sans Lonzo Ball, obviously).
Joel Embiid may have never lost to the Bulls, but he’ll be sitting tonight’s game out due to injury, granting Chicago a golden opportunity to beat the spread and claim a big victory tonight.
Game Predictions
Although the 76ers have made a doormat out of the Bulls in recent years, I can’t help but feel tonight is the night that changes for the better. Chicago has consistently outperformed expectations against the East’s best this year, and they have to be well aware of their lack of success against Philadelphia. You have to think Embiid’s absence greatly improves the Bulls’ odds, but as you saw in the above tweet, a win tonight is far from a foregone conclusion.
My Predictions: (17-21)
