Bulls vs Nets Odds, Starting Lineup, Injury Report, Predictions, TV Channel for Jan. 4
After leaving a pair of games against Cleveland empty-handed, the Chicago Bulls won’t get much time to compose themselves and stuff their officiating complaints away, as arguably the best team in the NBA right now comes to town. The Bulls will host the Brooklyn Nets in what should be a high-octane Eastern Conference duel tonight in the United Center.
As good as the Nets have been, the Bulls do currently hold bragging rights with a 1-0 lead on the season series. In their first game after firing former head coach Steve Nash, Brooklyn fell to Chicago 99-108 on the first of November. Since then, however, the Nets have become an entirely different beast under the leadership of Jacque Vaughn and should pose a significant threat to a struggling Bulls team.
Here’s how you can tune into tonight’s must-watch matchup.

Projected Chicago Bulls Starting Lineup and Injury Report
- PG: Ayo Dosunmu
- SG: Zach LaVine
- SF: DeMar DeRozan
- PF: Patrick Williams
- C: Nikola Vucevic
- IR: Out – Lonzo Ball, Javonte Green, Tony Bradley; Probable – Andre Drummond
It’s a relief to see the injury report have far fewer names on it ahead of tonight’s game, but it’s still more than you’d ideally wish to see. Chicago will once again be forced to make do without key reserve wing Javonte Green, which may prove troublesome against a better-than-advertised Brooklyn bench.
Game Predictions
While what we have seen from the Bulls as of late feels promising in regards to their odds at bouncing back in the second half of the season, I just can’t picture them being favored tonight against the hottest team in the NBA. On a 12-game win streak and winners in 16 of their last 17 games, no team looks better than the Brooklyn Nets right now. Jacque Vaughn has this team playing its best basketball in the Durant/Irving era, and will most likely send Bulls fans home disappointed tonight.
My Predictions: (17-20)
