The Chicago Bulls’ season is unraveling, as the team has lost four straight games to fall to 11-18 on the season heading into Tuesday’s matchup with the Miami Heat.

The Heat have gotten off to a slow start this season, partially due to injuries to key players like Tyler Herro and Jimmy Butler, but they have won four straight to get back over .500.

Miami hasn’t been great at home this season, going just 3-10-1 as home favorites. Despite that, the Heat have won nine of their 15 home games.

Chicago was awful in its last game, allowing 150 points to the Minnesota Timberwolves, but it’s facing a defensive-minded Heat team tonight. Can the Bulls get back on track on the road, or will their struggles continue?

Let’s dive into the latest odds and a pick for the Bulls-Heat matchup:

Bulls vs. Heat prediction and pick

The Heat have struggled to cover the spread as home favorites this season, but I can’t trust the Bulls after some of the performances they have put together.

Bulls guard Goran Dragic was very honest about the state of the Bulls following the loss to the Wolves, and this team could spiral out of control if they can’t right the ship soon.

So, rather than backing a side, I’m looking to the total for my best bet in this matchup.

The Bulls have given up a lot of points lately, but now they’re facing a very deliberate Heat team that plays at the No. 28 pace in the league. The Heat are also seventh in the league in defensive rating.

They’re going to play physical basketball, and it’s a reason why Miami has gone below this number in four straight games and six of its last eight.

Both of these teams are bottom 10 in the league in offensive rating, so if the Heat control the pace and slow this game down, I think we see a low-scoring affair on Tuesday night.
