Fresh off a blowout win over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night, the Chicago Bulls head to Atlanta to take on Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.

The Hawks have lost three straight games, and they’re in a tough spot with Dejounte Murray and John Collins sidelined due to injury.

This hasn’t been an ideal start to the season for the Bulls, but with back-to-back wins the team has some momentum coming into this matchup. Chicago is now 16th in the NBA in net rating, while the Hawks are actually 20th despite having a better record.

This is the 12th time this season that the Bulls have been a road dog, going 5-5-1 against the spread in their previous 11 matchups.

Here’s a look at the latest betting odds and a pick for the Bulls-Hawks matchup on Sunday:

Bulls vs. Hawks Prediction and Pick

Chicago looked dominant against the Luka Doncic-less Mavericks on Saturday night, and I think the team is in a good spot to at least cover against the struggling Hawks on Sunday.

The Hawks have a severe lack of offense without Collins and Murray, and De’Andre Hunter is still listed as questionable for this game. If he doesn’t go, that’s an even bigger edge for the Bulls on the wing.

The Bulls deserve some credit for their defense this season (eighth in the NBA in defensive rating), and they have several players they can try on Young in this game.

I don’t trust the Hawks as a favorite, even at home with so many key players out. Atlanta is just 11-14-1 against the spread on the season as it is.

Back the Bulls to cover on Sunday.
