After dropping a very close 111-115 contest against the New Orleans Pelicans, the Chicago Bulls continue their desperate attempt to climb above a .500 winning percentage. They’ll get their chance to even out their 6-7 record at home tonight against a Western Conference powerhouse Denver Nuggets team.

The Nuggets, on the other hand, have gotten off to a far more successful start to their season now that their roster is finally healthy. Currently 8-4, Denver is sitting in a solid position with their three max players back in the starting five and Aaron Gordon looks like a great pickup for them.

However, six of their eight wins have come against the Thunder, Spurs, Pacers, and Lakers, indicating their record may not be quite as indicative of their team strength as it first seems. The Bulls look to test that theory tonight.

Projected Chicago Bulls Starting Lineup and Injury Report

  • PG: Ayo Dosunmu
  • SG: Zach LaVine
  • SF: DeMar DeRozan
  • PF: Patrick Williams
  • C: Nikola Vucevic
  • IR: Out – Lonzo Ball; Questionable – Coby White

With Zach LaVine and Andre Drummond back on the court, the Chicago Bulls are finally nearing full strength — at least for now. Coby White is still listed as questionable, but with no further updates since Friday’s report that he’s been dealing with thigh swelling, I wouldn’t expect him to suit up tonight.

Game Predictions

Despite Nikola Jokic’s dominance, the Chicago Bulls actually emerged victorious in each of these teams’ two meetings last season. However, it’s important to note that Denver was without two of their top three options, Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr., for those games. Now, we’ll get a real chance to see what they can do when at full strength.
