Bulls vs Pelicans Odds, Starting Lineup, Injury Report, Predictions, TV Channel for Nov. 9
Bouncing back to a 6-6 record, the Chicago Bulls are looking to stack the win column even higher after a dominant 111-97 showing against the Raptors on Monday. They turn their attention to the Pelicans, who have gotten off to a similarly middling start to the 2022-23 season.
Having already dropped three overtime contests and games against bottom-feeding teams like the Lakers and Pacers, it’s clear the Pelicans have some issues they’re working through internally. While New Orleans continues their search for ways to best utilize its wealth of star talent, the Bulls will have an opportunity to capitalize here.
Here’s everything you need to know before tonight’s game tips off.

Projected Chicago Bulls Starting Lineup and Injury Report
- PG: Ayo Dosunmu
- SG: Zach LaVine
- SF: DeMar DeRozan
- PF: Patrick Williams
- C: Nikola Vucevic
- IR: Out – Lonzo Ball; Questionable – Andre Drummond, Coby White
With Andre Drummond being upgraded to questionable before Monday’s game against Toronto, there’s an increasing chance he’s able to make his return to the court sooner rather than later. For a Pelicans’ team that just lost their closing center, Larry Nance Jr., to injury, Drummond’s presence could potentially tip the scales in Chicago’s favor tonight. We’re still waiting to hear back on Coby White’s progress, but he’ll likely be ruled out once again tonight.
Game Predictions
With the Pelicans still struggling to figure out the frontcourt fit between Zion Williamson and Jonas Valanciunas, now feels like the perfect time to capitalize and secure a win while New Orleans is underperforming. The talent on this Pelicans roster is undeniable, and I’m sure they’ll figure things out sooner rather than later, but the Bulls are simply a more polished team at this point in time. With all three members of the All-Star trio expected to play tonight, I believe the Bulls can win round one before a rematch against the Pelicans a week from today.
