Coming off two straight wins, the Bulls gun for a third consecutive victory against a floundering Celtics team that’s lost four of five. This should be a competitive game, as Chicago ranks ninth in the NBA in net rating (2.8) while Boston is 10th (1.9), though the Bulls won four of the last six meetings between these squads.

I’ve got three bold betting predictions for the big game, so let’s jump in and get set to make some dollars tonight!

Bulls vs Celtics Bold Betting Predictions

Bulls Win

Despite the stronger statistical profile and better recent performance, the Bulls are large underdogs tonight. I think we have tremendous value on Chicago with the current +240 odds, so I’m jumping on board.

Boston is coming off a grueling overtime loss to Cleveland and are struggling defensively, ranking 18th in defensive rating (112.8). The Bulls, meanwhile, cruised to a victory over Charlotte and have the sixth-best defensive rating in the league (107.5).

Chicago has a superior rebounding percentage as well, so I love the Bulls’ chances of pulling off the upset to win a third straight game.

DeMar DeRozan Breaks out of His Slump

DeRozan has only 29 points combined in his last two games after shooting two-of-11 from field against the Hornets. He’s in a slump, but Boston’s recent defensive struggles give him value to clear his points prop today. In fact, I think he goes for 30+.

In his last seven games against Boston, DeRozan cleared 25 points four times and 30 points three times. He scored 25 points against the Celtics last month, and is maintaining his high usage despite his shooting struggles. Back DeRozan to get back on track in a Bulls win.

Nikola Vucevic Becomes Steph Curry

I love Vucevic’s chances to make at least two three-pointers at +120 odds. He averages 1.6 made three-pointers per game on 4.4 attempts, and averages 1.7 made three’s on 5.5 attempts in his last 10 games against the Celtics.

Boston has a strong interior defense, so it makes sense that Vucevic would find more space to operate around the perimeter. In fact, he’s made at least one three-pointer in nine of those last 10 games, making multiple in five of those contests.

At +120 odds, we’ve got fantastic value on Vucevic to keep firing against a potential weak-spot of the Celtics defense.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
