Ranking the Chicago Bulls’ 3 biggest offseason needs
By Josh Paredes
1. A full recovery from key Chicago Bulls
As already mentioned, it’s important to note just how devastating those injuries were to the Bulls’ season. Lonzo Ball‘s health, as we’ve covered recently, is still a concern, as he’s only been able to suit up for 90 games in the last two seasons. His surgically repaired knee has been giving him recurring problems, and his overall availability will be a big factor in how well Chicago fares next season.
Zach LaVine‘s pending meeting with a specialist for knee problems of his own will also be key, assuming he and the Bulls are able to reach an agreement to keep him in town. He’s admitted he was playing for most of the season with pain and discomfort, so getting him back to 100% before hitting the court again needs to be a priority.
The Bulls are full of talent at all positions, but that won’t do them any good if injuries keep plaguing them next season. A few months of rest and recovery should go a long way.
