1. Artūras Karnišovas

The role players on this team aren’t postseason-caliber players. Coby White and Williams are inconsistent due to their youth, while Ayo Dosunmu is unplayable because of his inexperience. They signed Derrick Jones Jr. knowing he isn’t a reliable 3-and-D player, something that every playoff team needs. They had the opportunity to get a quality vet on the buyout market, and somehow settled for Tristan Thompson.

The front office, led by Artūras Karnišovas, didn’t create a true playoff roster.

Every loss to an elite team shows that the Bulls don’t have the proper rim protection to be a top defense. They don’t have that necessary 3-and-D player or an actual backup point guard to lead the second unit (Caruso is a two guard, not a point guard).

The Bulls need depth in the offseason if they want to compete. As their roster stands, they don’t have enough shot makers, perimeter defense or interior presence to be a real contender. And that falls on the folks who construct the roster.
