The Chicago Bulls are back in action in Utah for a matchup with the Jazz on Wednesday night. The 41-27 Bulls are in fourth place in the Eastern Conference and the 42-26 Jazz are in fourth in the Western Conference. Look at that!
The last time these two faced off, Chicago beat Utah in late October by eight points. DeMar DeRozan scored a game-high 32 points, while Zach LaVine had 26 points and Nikola Vucevic had 16 points.
The Jazz are in a rough stretch of their own, losing four of their last seven games. Their most recent loss came to the Milwaukee Bucks. Mike Conley and Donovan Mitchell led the team with 29 points each. Rudy Gobert added 18 points and 14 rebounds while Royce O’Neale chipped in with 12 points.
On Wednesday night, Utah will be without Bojan Bogdanovic (calf), Danuel House (knee) and Udoka Azubuike (ankle). Trent Forrest is day to day.
Lonzo Ball (knee) and Patrick Williams (wrist) are out for the Bulls. Zach LaVine (knee soreness) is probable.

Chicago Bulls vs. Utah Jazz Prediction
The Bulls are coming off a bad loss against the Kings and have lost six of their last eight. Four of the six losses in that stretch came at the hands of the league’s better teams, though. In their loss against the Kings, they nearly completed a 20-point comeback but eventually lost by nine.
With LaVine battling knee pain, DeRozan’s ability to punish Rudy Gobert up top will be key. Chicago leads the NBA in pick and roll efficiency, so look for DeRozan and LaVine look to drive off of the pick. Once Utah switches, they have to attack Gobert from the top. That patience will lead Chicago to a win.
We’re taking the Bulls +6.5 and over 226 points.
Chicago 130, Utah 121.
