Now-two-time All-Star shooting guard Zach LaVine and five-time All-Star forward DeMar DeRozan are the two Chicago Bulls players representing the team during the festivities on Feb. 20 in Cleveland. Rookie point guard Ayo Dosunmu also represented the Bulls in the Rising Stars Challenge during the festivities of All-Star Weekend in Cleveland.

But DeRozan and LaVine were the two Bulls players representing the team in the actual All-Star Game on the night of Feb. 20. And both Bulls’ All-Stars were truly in a rhythm early on in this All-Star Game.

DeRozan and LaVine each hit their respective first shot attempts of the All-Star Game on Feb. 20. For LaVine, it was a three-pointer that he drained on a jump shot from the top of the arc that saw him get on the board.

And for DeRozan, he hit a deep mid-range shot for his first points of the game. DeRozan’s first field goal make truly was one of the most notable moves he has offensively.

Chicago Bulls’ star Zach LaVine shows off with an impressive 360-dunk in the All-Star Game

Moreover, one of the first big highlights of the All-Star Game was a breakaway dunk that LaVine used to get the crowd excited in the first quarter. On that breakaway slam, LaVine showed off with a 360-dunk.

That dunk would bring LaVine to five points in the first quarter. He also came up with two rebounds and one assist coming off the bench just in the first quarter of the All-Star Game.

Meanwhile, DeRozan went 3-of-6 shooting from the field, good for six points, along with two rebounds and two assists just in the first quarter.

Moreover, seeing LaVine put this flush down was cool to see after the Slam Dunk Contest this year was a pretty big letdown. This seemed like one of the bigger letdowns of any Slam Dunk Contest in the last decade or so.

LaVine and DeRozan did a nice job representing the Bulls at the All-Star Game so far in the first half. DeRozan is competing in the All-Star Game as a starter for Team LeBron and LaVine is playing for Team Durant as a reserve.
