Potential Chicago Bulls’ trade targets among 2022 All-Stars: Jayson Tatum

KAT and the three-time Boston Celtics All-Star selection and 2019-20 All-NBA forward selection Jayson Tatum could realistically hit the trade block soon if something hits the fan with their respective teams in the months ahead. And this second name up on the list sounds like he has already considered the fact that the Celtics could trade him before too long depending on the postseason prospects for this team.

It really looks like the situation with the likes of star wings/forwards Tatum and Jaylen Brown with the Celtics could boil over if this team doesn’t make a sustained postseason push in the near future. There are already plenty of talks about a hypothetical situation where the Celtics try and split up Brown and Tatum.

As it relates to the Bulls in this hypothetical scenario where the Celtics are looking to part ways with either Tatum or Brown, this would have to be something that’s considered for this team to find their long-term solution at the four. It sounds like the Bulls were already interested in nabbing someone like star forward Jerami Grant from the Detroit Pistons at the trade deadline this year.

But the Bulls obviously didn’t get anything done with the Pistons to get Grant at the deadline.

If Tatum or Brown were made available, that could make for one of the most intriguing trade discussions in recent memory if the Bulls were interested.

It would clearly take a ton of pieces in return for the Bulls to get either Tatum or Brown from the Celtics. But that might be a risk that Karnisovas and Eversley are willing to take if this was legitimately a realistic trade they could make in the next couple of offseasons.
