Chicago Bulls buyout market targets that fit well with DeMar DeRozan: Jeremy Lamb

There were multiple players from the Indiana Pacers that were on the move around the trade deadline. And the biggest movement of any now-former Pacers players took place mostly in one big trade deal with the Sacramento Kings last week.

A trade that saw the likes of star big man Domantas Sabonis, small forward Justin Holiday, and wing Jeremy Lamb shipped off to the Kings was one of the biggest splash deals of deadline week. And it now looks like Holiday and Lamb could be two of the bigger names to watch on the buyout market unless the Kings shift course and try to make a playoff push this year.

Even if the Kings are trying to make a playoff push right away after acquiring the two-time All-Star Sabonis, they might still try to negotiate a buyout deal with Lamb. An injury-prone wing that plays at a position where the Kings don’t have much need for him over the long haul might be one that is let go in the days and/or weeks ahead.

Granted, there is a reason for skepticism as to whether Lamb will show up on the buyout market in the first place this year. In his first game with the Kings, Lamb played in more than 30 minutes, registering 14 points in the process.

If Lamb does hit the buyout market, though, he would be one of the more valuable wings the Bulls could pursue. It would help to have a two-way floor-spacing wing that can add another dynamic to this team on both ends of the floor while DeRozan has some second unit players playing with him. Lamb could definitely add that extra dynamic and versatility to the Bulls’ wing rotation.
