With the Chicago Bulls‘ front office staying so quiet at the trade deadline, the attention in terms of any roster movement at this point of the season has firmly shifted to the buyout market. It does look like the Bulls are going to be one of the more active teams around the NBA landscape on the buyout market in the weeks ahead.

There should be plenty of opportunities that come the Bulls’ way to add depth to various parts of their rotation by way of key players emerging on the buyout market. Knowing just how fruitful the buyout market could be this year too, the Bulls should be putting a really keen eye on what emerges in the mix in the next few weeks.

Two particular areas of need that the Bulls could address on the buyout market are adding veteran backcourt depth and a backup center. Addressing the need in the frontcourt unit looks to be the first priority that the Bulls are trying to tackle, though. That also was seemingly the top priority that the Bulls’ front office would’ve addressed at the trade deadline had they made any moves.

Expect the Bulls to aggressively pursue any frontcourt targets they like that emerge on the buyout market before anything else. There are some names to watch that could be bought out soon that could help in terms of backcourt depth too.
