Chicago Bulls studs from electrifying win over the Spurs: Coby White

There was no single Bulls player that came out with a hotter start out of the gates in this game than the third-year point guard Coby White. He hit each of his first four shots from the field, including three from beyond the arc.

This was not the first time in the last few days where Coby really went off shooting from the field, and specifically from beyond the arc. Coby has now hit two-dozen three-pointers on better than 50 percent shooting from beyond the arc in his last six games played. This game definitely helped improved his number shooting from beyond the arc too.

In this win over the Spurs, Coby was solid through and through. There were some lulls he had in the middle of this game thanks to the four early personal fouls he had. But he still came up with two-dozen points in 34 minutes played in the starting unit where he went an efficient 6-of-11 shooting from the field, 5-of-6 from beyond the arc, and 7-of-8 from the free-throw line.

He also gave the Bulls five rebounds, six assists, no steals, no blocks, and just one turnover.

It was clear that Coby was having a positive impact on the Bulls in this game since he was a game-high +19 on the floor. You can’t fault really anything that Coby did on this night. He was a huge contributing factor to this big win over the Spurs.
