With the Chicago Bulls and second-year head coach Billy Donovan gearing up to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the back end of back-to-back games on the night of Feb. 12, there is still a focus on what this team might’ve missed out on at the trade deadline. The trade deadline passed two days ago for the Bulls who wound up taking a patient approach.

On Feb. 10, executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley wound up staying silent at the trade deadline to stand pat with what they currently have on the Bulls roster. That was a bit surprising given the fact that just a couple of months ago it looked like the Bulls would once again be one of the more aggressive buyers in the Eastern Conference at the trade deadline.

That was certainly the case last year when the Bulls were likely the most active team in the East at the trade deadline acquiring the likes of star center Nikola Vucevic from the Orlando Magic and big man Daniel Theis from the Boston Celtics, among other moves.

Who the Chicago Bulls missed around the trade deadline in hindsight?

But the Bulls wanted to stick with what they have in the mix now and not ruin any locker room chemistry that is already present so far this season. And it’s hard to blame that approach given the success that the Bulls found through 56 games this regular season, with a record of 35-21.

There are two ways to look at the inactivity for the Bulls at the deadline. It will be hard to give the final judgment on the lack of activity at the deadline for the Bulls until postseason time arrives.

At the moment, though, here’s a look at four traded players at the deadline that the Bulls could potentially look back on in hindsight as misses later this season.
