3 trade deadline targets that are most realistic for the Bulls
Most realistic trade deadline targets for the Chicago Bulls: Torrey Craig
Thinking a little bit outside the box, the Bulls could very realistically wind up going after a wing/forward that could help improve the bench like Torrey Craig from the division foe Indiana Pacers. While it might not necessarily be Craig that the Bulls are going after at the deadline, he certainly fits the profile of someone that could help out their wing rotation immediately.
As the Bulls wait for the likes of forwards Patrick Williams and Derrick Jones Jr. to heal up this season, they could rely on Craig to fill the absence they leave in this spot in the rotation. Craig is the type of wing/forward that could also give Donovan and the Bulls a much-needed defensive boost.
Moreover, it’s obvious at this point that the Pacers are basically undergoing a full-on firesale at the moment. Few sellers were busier this week already than the Pacers. They made that big splash deal with the Sacramento Kings to send off star big man Domantas Sabonis for a return highlighted by Buddy Hield and Tyrese Haliburton.
There are a number of wings/forwards that could bring a similar level of value to the table for the Bulls that Craig would. Some other names to watch in this regard are the Thunder forward Kenrich Williams, Pacers wing/forward Justin Holiday, Celtics shooting guard/wing Josh Richardson, and/or Philadelphia 76ers wing Danny Green.
