4 grand prize trade deadline targets for the Bulls
Grand prize trade deadline targets for the Chicago Bulls: Harrison Barnes
Two of the notable trade deadline targets mentioned on this list for the Bulls are names that are commonly noted in connection with this team ahead of Feb. 10. And the other two are other potential trade ideas to consider that could still fill some of the bigger needs the Bulls are looking to address at the deadline.
First up, though, is a name that Bulls fans should be very familiar with on the trade block at this point. The Sacramento Kings veteran forward Harrison Barnes is definitely one of the more appealing potential trade targets for the Bulls at the deadline given how they are looking to add an impact player at the four.
Barnes could come in and help the Bulls in the starting unit right away. He’s a very capable scorer, efficient shot maker, good rebounder, and a versatile fit with what the Bulls like to do offensively. Barnes is able to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim effectively. He can also create his own shots from mid-range and from beyond the arc. And he’s even a solid catch-and-shoot threat from the outside.
The biggest question mark concerning the idea of trading for Barnes from the Kings is what the Bulls would have to give up in return. It doesn’t sound like the Kings are all too willing to give up Barnes without getting a piece like Williams or some major future draft capital in return. It’s hard to see the Bulls wanting to give up all of that.
