On a night where both the Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers were very short-handed, these two teams made for an interesting matchup between Central Division foes. Second-year head coach Billy Donovan was looking for his Bulls team to rebound from a tough overtime loss in the front end of this set of back-to-back games against head coach Rick Carlisle and the Pacers on the night of Feb. 4 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

In the front end of this set of back-to-back games, the Bulls fell short to head coach Nick Nurse and the stingy Toronto Raptors on the road in overtime by the final score of 127-120. That loss to the Raptors snapped a two-game winning streak for the Bulls.

Moreover, the Bulls were without the services of star shooting guard Zach LaVine and point guard Coby White in this meeting with the Pacers. Meanwhile, the Pacers were missing a crucial trio for them in star big man Domantas Sabonis, stout shot-blocking center Myles Turner, and point guard Malcolm Brogdon.

But all of these absences didn’t stop the Pacers from giving it everything they had. Wing Caris LeVert was on fire from the get-go in this game. It took a well-rounded effort from the Bulls on this night to try and stave off the many runs the Pacers tried to go on.

This was a big win for the Bulls to get back on track to cap this set of back-to-back games. Here’s a look at two studs and one dud from the Bulls’ huge 122-115 win over the Pacers on the road on Feb. 4.
