On a night that saw second-year head coach Billy Donovan and the Chicago Bulls come up with a win to avenge their Jan. 23 loss to the Orlando Magic, this team has now surpassed their win total from last season already. The Bulls got their 32nd win of the regular season so far with this double-digit triumph over the Magic at home at the United Center on Feb. 1.

Donovan and the Bulls did have a bit of a rocky close-out at times in this win over the Magic. But this was still a necessary win to bounce back against a Magic team that currently has the worst record in the NBA.

It was not a good look for the Bulls to fall short to the Magic last week by a margin of nearly 20 points. Yet, the Bulls were able to get back on the right side of the win column on this night. The Bulls got this win over the Magic at the UC on Feb. 1 by the final score of 126-115.

This was a good effort defensively for the Bulls in the final minutes of the fourth quarter. While the Bulls struggled defensively throughout the rest of the game, they at least showed up in clutch time.

Both teams managed the ball well in this game, with only nine turnovers for each side. But the Bulls winning the battle on the boards by a margin of more than a dozen was a big deciding factor in this game. This was one of multiple encouraging signs that showed up for the Bulls down the stretch here.

Here’s a look into two studs and one dud from the Bulls’ 11-point win over the Magic at home on Feb. 1.
