Chicago Bulls trades to right the ship immediately: Get Harrison Barnes for forward help

Possibly the most glaring need for the Bulls at this point of the season is to get more depth in the wing/forward rotation. With so many important players missing in this portion of the rotation, the Bulls are struggling to find answers during a difficult stretch of the January schedule.

The good news for the Bulls in this regard is the fact that there are some worthy targets out there to find help in this spot in the rotation. In fact, there are some forwards out there for executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley to get some forward contracts that could fit seamlessly on the books in Chicago.

A name to watch as a potential trade target for the Bulls as the trade deadline draws near is the Sacramento Kings standout forward and former North Carolina Tar Heel Harrison Barnes. Most Bulls fans are going to put their attention on a different forward as the trade deadline draws closer in the next few weeks. But Barnes is a quality trade target for the Bulls to zone in on.

This hypothetical trade package sees the Bulls part ways with some commonly discussed trade chips on the roster. Simply put, the Bulls just have to give up point guard Coby White, forward Derrick Jones Jr., and shooting guard/small forward Troy Brown Jr. for a return of Barnes and shooting guard Jah’mius Ramsey from the Kings.

This could be an easy deal to get done for both the Bulls and Kings if both parties are willing to get into negotiations for something like this soon.
