Underrated trade targets for Arturas Karnisovas and the Chicago Bulls: Kenrich Williams
I’ve talked quite a few times at this point about the potential of Karnisovas and the Bulls going after someone like Reddish or the underrated Thunder wing Kenrich Williams around the trade deadline this season. The Bulls could use either Williams or Reddish in various roles that would each be a solid fit in this rotation.
As far as the fit between Williams and the Bulls is concerned, the underrated Thunder forward could play in a multitude of roles for this team. He could fit in a type of hybrid role between the three and the four in more of a traditional lineup from Donovan. Yet, he could even slide up to playing a stretch big man role when Donovan wants to run small-ball.
In the last few seasons, Williams has already played at least 75-80 percent of his minutes oftentimes between the four and the five. That shows how multiple he could be on both ends of the floor for the Bulls. He is less athletic obviously than someone like second-year forward Patrick Williams or forward Derrick Jones Jr. But he is a fluid player off-ball that is also a reliable floor spacer.
Williams might be the most notable trade target I believe that could be a solid fit with the Bulls. His switchability, team-friendly contract, and solid two-way skill set could something that helps out the Bulls bench right away. It likely wouldn’t take too much to get him from the Thunder either.
