Most likely Chicago Bulls players to be traded at the deadline: Coby White

A Bulls player that has played more than well enough to have the chances of him getting traded at the deadline decrease in the last few weeks is the third-year point guard Coby White. The way that White is playing for the Bulls of late is making him a really critical piece of this second unit.

While the production and efficiency of Coby will come and go, his importance to this rotation in certain situations will likely be there throughout the rest of the season. Coby’s volume scoring ability and his two-way efforts of late are starting to become integral parts of the gameplan for Donovan night in and night out.

Yet, there could still be two broad reasons why the front office might be willing to move on from White. The first and most obvious reason is the fact that there might be another team with a proven veteran piece that fits better with the Bulls rotation than White. In that situation, it’s implied that the team offering a key veteran piece would greatly value the addition of White to their squad.

The second reason would be that the front office still doesn’t buy into any role that they could find for Coby over the long haul. That would mean that want to trade him now while his value is still very high.

Coby would still command a lot of value on the trade block this season. He’s got two years remaining on his current contract. This is also one of the most attractive contracts value-wise that the Bulls have on the books right now.
