3 Bulls players shining with Chris Fleming as head coach
Through the first 32 games of the regular season, the Chicago Bulls have proved that this team is a real contender in the Eastern Conference regardless of who the bench boss is at the time. Whether it be second-year head coach Billy Donovan or assistant/current interim head coach Chris Fleming leading the way, the Bulls are looking like one of the top contenders in the East this season.
In three games with Fleming as the interim head coach, the Bulls are sporting a record of 3-0. And prior to Donovan entering the league’s health and safety protocol last week, the Bulls won two games in a row ahead of the Christmas break. All told, the Bulls are currently riding a five-game winning streak following their triumph at home at the United Center over the Atlanta Hawks on Dec. 29.
This gives the Bulls a record of 22-10 through their first 32 games of the regular season. That is good for second place in the Eastern Conference standings, only behind the Brooklyn Nets. And if the Bulls keep playing the way they have of late, the Nets are definitely within striking distance for them to claim the top spot in the East after the turn of the calendar year.
Which Chicago Bulls players are shining with Chris Fleming serving as the interim head coach?
Especially with the way the offense is playing of late, the Bulls are looking really dangerous. It’s good to see this team not miss a step with Fleming serving as the interim head coach while Donovan is in the health and safety protocol in the last few games. There are even some Bulls players that are seeing their production rise with Fleming as the interim.
Whether that’s a coincidence based on this stretch of the schedule we don’t fully know. Nonetheless, here’s a look into three Bulls players excelling in the last few games with Fleming as the interim.
