We’re looking forward a bit with this piece for the Chicago Bulls. On Christmas Day 2021, there can still be a focus on what lies ahead of the Bulls up in the front office for the next offseason. Granted, there is still plenty more to focus on in terms of what lies ahead for this season. We’re still not even halfway through this season yet.

There still remains plenty of excitement and anticipation for what’s to come for the rest of this season for second-year head coach Billy Donovan and the Bulls. Donovan and the Bulls hold a record of 19-10 after the first 29 games of the regular season. This leaves more than half of the regular season slate remaining for the Bulls to continue to solidify their contender status.

Chicago Bulls have a shorter wish list on Christmas Day for free agency 2022

The Bulls currently hold the second spot in the Eastern Conference standings during their Christmas break, only behind the Brooklyn Nets.

Yet, it’s still worth looking ahead to the 2022 free agent class as it relates to the Bulls. Given the plethora of moves that the front office made to build up the roster last offseason, they could be busy once again next summer.

The main task ahead for the Bulls next summer will be to make sure that star shooting guard Zach LaVine is re-signed. He’s an unrestricted free agent next offseason if the Bulls don’t get him re-signed.

There are some other free agent targets that highlight this class that are worth talking about for the Bulls, though. With Christmas Day upon us, here’s a look into three targets on the Bulls’ wish list for the 2022 free agent class.
