3 Bulls players viewed as legitimate trade targets
Chicago Bulls players viewed as legit trade targets: Zach LaVine
One Bulls player that is going to be the topic of constant media and fan speculation, no matter what happens with the team throughout most of the season, is star shooting guard Zach LaVine. The first-time All-Star selection is vying to get those honors for the second season in a row with his play alongside fellow star DeMar DeRozan out of the gates during this regular season slate.
Does it make sense at this point of the season that the Bulls would even entertain the idea of training LaVine?
Absolutely not.
Is that going to stop fans from pitching trade packages for their team to go and out get LaVine in the midst of a contract year for him?
No.

I have no idea what the Bulls would be willing to take in to trade LaVine at this point of the season. The very fact that the Bulls are sitting with a record of 19-10, in second place in the Eastern Conference standings, should be more than reason enough to know that this front office isn’t going to legitimately consider trade discussions for LaVine.
Nonetheless, this is a list of Bulls players that other teams in various fan and media circles are going to talk about as trade targets ahead of the deadline this season. LaVine is going to be one of the hottest parts of that type of discussion no matter what.
LaVine and the Bulls are forming a contender that could actually pull off a shocker and make it to the NBA Finals, as the Phoenix Suns did last season behind the star duo of point guard Chris Paul and shooting guard Devin Booker. There’s no reason for Karnisovas and Eversley to break that up now.
