As the Chicago Bulls continue to try and get healthy and out of the league’s health and safety protocol in the midst of a week where it feels like the entire rotation is in quarantine, there are a lot of reactions going around social media. The Bulls had two games pushed back this week due to the fact that they had so many players in the health and safety protocol.

There are plenty of social media reactions to talk about this week as the Bulls try and get the bulk of their rotation back for their Dec. 19 meeting with the Los Angeles Lakers. But there was one, in particular, that caught the attention of a lot of Chicago sports fans this week.

Chicago White Sox shortstop and first-time All-Star selection Tim Anderson tweeted out on the morning of Dec. 13 that he wanted to play for the Bulls, jokingly of course, since the MLB is locked out right now. Obviously, he wouldn’t be playing MLB baseball in December anyway. But it might be a while before the MLB is back up and running.

Anderson specifically tweeted “you know we locked out right… holla at me gang!” with the hashtag “#imready”.

Anderson is definitely one of the bigger names for the White Sox. He just won a batting title in the season that was for the White Sox. He also received MVP votes last season as well as his first career Silver Slugger award.

Many Bulls fans also share a fandom with either the White Sox or crosstown rival Chicago Cubs in the MLB. The White Sox have the same ownership as the Bulls with the Reinsdorf family.

The Bulls are next set to take the court at the United Center on Dec. 19 in Chicago on Dec. 19 against the Lakers. It looks like we will be set to at least see the likes of star shooting guard/forward DeMar DeRozan, shooting guard/forward Javonte Green, and point guard Coby White, among others, back for that meeting with the Lakers next weekend.
