Chicago Bulls trades with the Pacers for Myles Turner: Get Coby White involved

In most trade scenarios that come to mind for the Bulls, it’s hard to not see the third-year former North Carolina Tar Heels point guard Coby White being part of the discussion at the very least. If the Bulls want to hang onto their top players such as Vucevic, star shooting guard Zach LaVine, shooting guard/forward DeMar DeRozan, point guard Lonzo Ball, etc., that must be the case.

In the first trade idea pitched here, we look at the Bulls shipping off Coby, rookie big man Marko Simonovic, forward Derrick Jones Jr., a lottery-protected future first-round pick, and two second-round picks, for a return of Turner and small forward Oshae Brissett. In this trade, the salaries do match up.

And the Bulls would be able to do something for the Pacers that seems like it’s a long time coming, vault the rebuild. The Pacers have some talent on their roster without a doubt, but it just hasn’t clicked in the last few years. Even hiring the former Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle back to Indy hasn’t put them in a contender spot so far this season.

While the Pacers might be asking for more than this to dish out Turner, it is still a lot to get in return. Coby has a bright future ahead of him potentially still, as could Marko. And getting three future draft picks is nothing to scoff at.

It would just be up to the Bulls’ front office to determine how worth it this could be for getting Turner in this type of a trade scenario.
