3 trades for the Bulls to get Myles Turner from the Pacers
One of the more hotly discussed trade rumors of late comes directly from a division rival of the Chicago Bulls, with the Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner. As one of the hottest names on the trade market right now, along with the Philadelphia 76ers absent star point guard Ben Simmons, Turner is certainly a name to watch for multiple teams moving forward.
Now, it would be difficult to find a smooth fit for second-year head coach Billy Donovan with someone like the former Texas Longhorns star Turner. Given how the Bulls could use some help in the frontcourt unit in terms of inside presence (namely rim protection), Turner should at least be someone to watch for this organization ahead of the trade deadline.
And given how open it seems the Pacers are to shopping Turner, it is certainly worth exploring the option for the Bulls’ front office.
How could the Chicago Bulls get a deal done to land Myles Turner from the Pacers?
According to a report from Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype, the Pacers could be shopping multiple players at this point of the season. But one name that is definitely sticking out is Turner. The Pacers could realistically deal out any of the likes of star power forward/center Domantas Sabonis, wing Caris LeVert, and/or wing T.J. Warren.
Granted, Warren has expressed interest to return to Indy once he comes back from injury.
The Bulls could use the help from someone like Turner. It would be an interesting fit alongside star center Nikola Vucevic, but one could come off the bench with the other adding a spark to the starting unit.
Here’s a look into three potential trades to consider for the Bulls with the Pacers for Turner.
