As the Chicago Bulls prepare to take on one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference in the back end of back-to-back games at home at the United Center on Nov. 27, second-year head coach Billy Donovan has plenty to reflect on so far this season. With Donovan and the Bulls essentially at the quarter mark of the regular season slate ahead of their Nov. 27 meeting with the Miami Heat, it’s worth taking a look back at what’s happened thus far.
At this point of the regular season slate, the Bulls are sporting a record of 13-7. The team did have some juicy opportunities to improve their record this week but whiffed in two straight losses against opponents with losing records. It was bad to see the Bulls lose the way they did on Nov. 22 and 24, respectively, at the hands of the Indiana Pacers and Houston Rockets.

But the fact of the matter is that the Bulls came out with a strong response in a dominant 35-point win over the Orlando Magic on Nov. 26. That Black Friday win could give the Bulls enough momentum to carry into the back end of back-to-back games at the United Center on Nov. 27 against the Heat.

Here’s a look into the definitive rankings for each Bulls player through the first quarter of the regular season schedule.
