Among the most highly anticipated releases year in and year out in terms of uniforms around the NBA landscape has to do with the City Jerseys, and that includes the release for the Chicago Bulls. And we got a look at what the entire set of the City Edition Jerseys will turn out to be this season early this week.

This includes the City Jerseys for the Bulls for the 2021-22 campaign. The design for these uniforms this season for the Bulls was a lot different than we got in the past few years. The Bulls went with more of a standard design that looks more like a traditional alternate uniform than the other City Jersey releases.

Granted, this is still a pretty clean design with the classic red look, the smaller numbers on the front of the jersey, and the city of “Chicago” spelled out in script letters.

But some of the past year’s City Jerseys had a solid look too. If nothing else, the Bulls definitely change up the design in a big way year in and year out. Back in 2018, the Bulls had one that resembled the iconic city flag with the blue stars.

The Bulls have also modeled a past year’s City Jersey with the blue from the city flag as the base color. And last year, the Bulls went with the design of the black and gold with the city of “Chicago” in bold text on the front of the jersey.

This year’s look for the Bulls resembles some of the vintage designs that the team rocked since the franchise was first founded in 1966. It has a mix of inspirations to the design of the jersey and the shorts.
