There’s a ton of excitement surrounding the Chicago Bulls heading into the regular season. This looks to be the best Bulls team since around the mid-2010s at least. Second-year head coach Billy Donovan should have the personnel at his disposal necessary to make this team a postseason contender during the 2021-22 campaign.

The Bulls truly proved during the preseason that this personnel should be able to mesh well heading into the regular season. All of the new acquisitions the Bulls’ front office brought in since the trade deadline last season could pay off in the playoff drought ending at four years.

Chicago Bulls get some special performances during an undefeated preseason slate

Some of the new faces that got to debut with the Bulls in the preseason included star shooting guard/forward DeMar DeRozan, point guard Lonzo Ball, guard Alex Caruso, small forward Derrick Jones Jr., and power forward Alize Johnson, among others. All of these new faces should be able to help elevate the Bulls to at least get one of the betters spots in the play-in tournament.

But this team should also be more than capable to get a top-six seed in the Eastern Conference this season. The Bulls’ unscathed run through the four-game preseason slate looks to be something that could give the team confidence heading into the regular season.

Finishing up the preseason with a spotless record of 4-0, the Bulls were very impressive ahead of tip-off of the regular season. It all rounded out with the Bulls win over the Memphis Grizzlies in the finale at home at the United Center on Oct. 15.

Here’s a look into two studs, and one dud, for the Bulls from the undefeated preseason run.
