Now just one day away from the start of the preseason slate for the Chicago Bulls, the rotation is starting to take shape for head coach Billy Donovan in his second year. Donovan and the Bulls began Training Camp back on Sep. 28, getting a bunch of new additions to the team acclimated ahead of the start of the preseason on Oct. 5.
This was certainly a busy offseason for the Bulls. The Bulls might’ve had the busiest front office of all at the outset of free agency this summer. The same could be said going all the way back to the trade deadline last season. That’s what the Bulls needed to do, though, to get this team back in the mode of a postseason contender.

While there was some potential with the young core at one time, the Bulls’ front office duo of Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley did not inherit a very talented roster ahead of last season. But they’ve made plenty of moves to give Donovan and his staff the resources necessary to succeed as a postseason contender.
What could be very special for Donovan and the Bulls this season is all of the floor spacing and offensive weapons available in this rotation. There are some new offensive weapons at Donovan this coming season that he definitely didn’t have in this rotation last season.
