Now in the midst of Training Camp, and less than one week from the start of the preseason slate, the Chicago Bulls are ramping up for what should be an exciting season ahead. Head coach Billy Donovan is in his second year at the helm, and he’s got a much better roster to work with this season than he did last.
Donovan and the Bulls did improve to a pretty significant degree in terms of win percentage last season, compared to the prior year under former head coach Jim Boylen. The Bulls finished up last season with a record of 31-41. But that wasn’t enough for the Bulls to snap the four-year-long postseason drought.
Heading into next season, the Bulls look to have a core more than capable enough to snap the postseason drought. There should also be a bigger chip than ever on the shoulder of star shooting guard Zach LaVine to finally get to the postseason for the first time in his career.

There are some decisions that need to be made, though, by the coaching staff and front office to find the best final roster for this coming season. That is what Training Camp and the preseason will help decide for Donovan and the Bulls.
With the preseason set to begin at home on Oct. 5 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, it won’t be long before the Bulls will take to the court at the United Center again for the fans to get to witness game action. That will start the process of finding out who could round out the roster heading into the regular season.
Here’s a look into three sleepers that could make the Bulls final roster heading into the regular season.
