Chicago Bulls: 3 non-guaranteed players likely to be cut
The day has arrived, the Chicago Bulls are set to start Training Camp on Sep. 28. We are also now roughly one week away from the tip-off of the Bulls preseason slate, which opens up at home at the United Center on Oct. 5 against Lauri Markkanen and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
For now, the focus for head coach Billy Donovan and the Bulls will be on figuring out the best roster at hand through Training Camp and the preseason. The Bulls front office was busy at work throughout this month adding some depth to the camp roster, especially with a bevy of players signed to non-guaranteed deals.
Chicago Bulls have some non-guaranteed players that could be on the chopping block soon
Figuring out the final 15-man roster will be an important step for the Bulls heading into next season. This bench looks better, at least compared to what Donovan had to work with last season. But we won’t know too much about how this group of reserves will form together until at least a dozen games into the regular season.
That is partly why it is so important for Donovan and the Bulls to figure out the best personnel to fill out this bench during Training Camp and the preseason. Given all of the numbers that the front office threw at potential areas of need in the rotation, it will also be interesting to see which camp contract players stick in the end.
On the other end of the spectrum, here’s a look at three non-guaranteed players likely to be cut after camp and the preseason.
