The minimum expectation for the Chicago Bulls and second-year head coach Billy Donovan heading into next season will likely be to make the postseason in one of the higher play-in seeds. Yet, this Bulls team has more than enough talent for next season to break the four-year-long postseason drought. The Bulls are clearly making more moves now to make Chicago more of a winning destination than it ever was in the past five years under the former front office regime of John Paxson and Gar Forman. And we won’t have to wait that much longer to see how all of these big moves play out for the Bulls next season.
The latest win total over/unders actually has a pretty pessimistic outlook for the Bulls next season, projecting 39.5 wins for this team. That would put this team under .500 for the fifth straight season. But the expectation should still be loftier than that heading into next season for Donovan and the Bulls.
