Training Camp is about to start for star shooting guard Zach LaVine and the Chicago Bulls in a little bit less than one week. And then, the preseason starts in around one week after that, tipping off at home at the United Center on Oct. 5 against Lauri Markkanen and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Training Camp is set to specifically begin for the Bulls on Sep. 20.

With the Bulls set to soon open up Training Camp, the anticipation awaits for a number of new faces to get integrated with this team in the second year under head coach Billy Donovan. The Bulls are set to welcome the likes of point guard Lonzo Ball, star shooting guard/forward DeMar DeRozan, point guard Alex Caruso, small forward Derrick Jones Jr., and more, to the Windy City next week.

And for the first time since becoming teammates last month by way of free agency, LaVine and Caruso got to workout together ahead of the start of the Bulls Training Camp next week. Basketball trainer Jordan Lawley posted a video on his YouTube channel of LaVine and Caruso getting after it in workouts last week.

This is good to see for LaVine to start the process of getting acclamated with some of his key new teammates even ahead of the start of Training Camp. Caruso and LaVine could be getting a lot of minutes on the floor together next season, even though the former Lakers defensive standout guard likely won’t be in the starting unit.

Caruso will be a good spot-up shooter from deep and a defensive rock for LaVine and the Bulls to rely on next season.

The Bulls front office brought Caruso in on a four-year contract worth around a total of $37 million in free agency this offseason. Meanwhile, LaVine is about to enter the final year of his current contract. He should be up for a sizable contract extension, or a new max-level contract entirely, at some point ahead of next offseason.

LaVine, Caruso, and the Bulls will be hoping to end the four-year-long postseason drought next season. Donovan and the Bulls should have the rotation to do so, though, with all of the impressive new additions the front office made since the trade deadline last season.
