3 Chicago Bulls players that would thrive in the modern NBA: Michael Jordan

As two of the best scorers that the NBA saw throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Gervin and the Bulls’ all-time great shooting guard Michael Jordan would still be two special players in the league in this day and age. Although, it’s difficult to find a time throughout the NBA’s history that Jordan wouldn’t be a dominant force on both ends of the floor.

And Jordan was so good that he was able to adapt his game to what was needed for the Bulls at the time. If you brought some type of version of him from really any point of the 1990s into the modern NBA, it’s hard to find the logic that Jordan still wouldn’t be one of the best players in the entire league.

Jordan was a two-way force that is the type of talent and mindset that the league just might not see again. If Jordan needed to, he could shoot the three-ball more effectively. And he would bring that same lockdown defense mindset to the table night in and night out, even in a time where the league just doesn’t emphasize that type of play anymore.

The Hall-of-Famer and 14-time All-Star selection Jordan could still come in and right away be one of the most dominant two-way guards in the NBA. There really isn’t anyone like him in the modern NBA. You would have to craft some type of Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, and Luka Doncic hybrid to form what Jordan was for the Bulls in the 1980s and 1990s.
