It is getting close to the time where the Chicago Bulls will have to start rounding out the roster ahead of the start of Training Camp and the preseason. And it seems like we’ve discussed a lot lately about how the Bulls’ front office can address the looming need at the four heading into next season.
But the Bulls just need to start adding some players that could have the potential to make some noise in camp and during the brief two-week-long preseason slate. Head coach Billy Donovan is currently set to have a roster next season that only features one player on a two-way contract slot and 14 on the actual roster.
Chicago Bulls have some underrated options to add to the camp roster
The Bulls do have the former Oregon State Beavers combo guard Ethan Thompson on an EXHIBIT-10 deal, but he didn’t do much to impress in the Las Vegas Summer League.
The one two-way contract slot at the moment is filled by the second-year point guard and former undrafted free agent signing Devon Dotson. An intriguing camp roster spot could go out to someone to fill the other two-way contract slot. Or, it could just go out to someone that the front office feels is worth taking a flier out on.
There are still a few intriguing players that are younger that have some NBA experience that are available in free agency. And some from the 2021 NBA Draft class that went undrafted could be interesting names to watch too.
Here’s a look into three deep sleepers that the Bulls could consider adding to the camp roster this month.
