The job for the Chicago Bulls‘ front office is not done in free agency yet this offseason by all indications. The Bulls still have a few needs to fill out this offseason to round out the bench before the next regular season arrives. And there’s not a whole lot of time left for the Bulls to add numbers to the bench before the arrival of Training Camp and the preseason.

Head coach Billy Donovan and the Bulls are set to open up Training Camp on Sep. 28 and the preseason slate begins at home at the United Center on Oct. 5 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Just a little more than one month remains before the Bulls begin Training Camp, and that’s when the rotation really needs to come together.

Chicago Bulls could turn to a sharpshooter in free agency to add depth to the bench

Executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley do need to have the outline of this rotation in place before Training Camp begins. There could always be fast risers in camp and the preseason, but the numbers clearly need to be there.

And maybe this is just a waiting game for the Bulls with fourth-year power forward Lauri Markkanen. If the Bulls can get Markkanen back on a qualifying offer next season, then the need at the four is at least filled.

But there’s no guarantee that Markkanen will return next season. There are open roster spots either way that the Bulls need to fill. And Donovan could always use more shooters to help line the bench. Here’s a look into three of the best shooters remaining in free agency at this point of the offseason.
